Personal Insight

My degree is a Bachelor of Fine Arts specializing in large, color-field paintings inspired by the likes of Mark Rothko and Jules Olitski. They were my inspiration. And my salvation.

I painted 12' x 8' canvases with a car spray gun and automotive lacquer. Since I couldn't draw or sketch or sculpt [and I was in Fine Arts], the keen ability to justify actions became an integral part of my art.

The same holds true today in my work as Creative Director. If creative output can't be justified against an approved strategy, there's simply no point to it.
